White Chocolate Strawberry Cake: 3 way

White Chocolate Strawberry Cake 3 Way | by @bakingwithanastasia

Hi everyone! With this post I would like to introduce you my 3 WAY series! As I mentioned in the post about myself, this blog focuses on all sorts of baking: fun and easy recipes for the beginners, more difficult recipes that may require additional baking equipment & a little bit more time, and difficult recipes for experienced bakers with a WOW effect.

When I was brainstorming different projects for my blog, I had an “Aha!” moment… how cool it would be to create the recipe of basically the same cake/ pastry at different difficulty levels?!!! Did it ever happen to you that you saw a beautiful cake online, liked it and decided to make it. BUT… then… when you were looking through the recipe, you realized: “WOW, it’s too difficult/ too many ingredients/ I don’t have equipment for this! No way I can make it!” So this project is the solution for specifically this kind of thoughts. Each cake/ pastry will be introduced at 3 difficulty levels:

  • Easy-Peasy
  • Level Up
  • Pâtisserie

So every time you will be able to choose the level that is the most suitable for you. And… may be even one day (if you are a beginner now) you will decide to move from an Easy-Peasy category to more advanced one. You never know where the road of baking addiction will bring you:)

Hello? Is anybody reading this? Do you like the idea?

So… Ta-da… Welcome to the first 3 WAY post and the topic is: “White Chocolate Strawberry Cake”. And because the 14th of February is just around the corner, all these cakes will be perfect for Saint Valentine’s Day. Yes, it means hearts, lots of hearts:) Probably you already saw it on the first featured image:)

The first post will be an Easy-Peasy White Chocolate Cake with Strawberries (you can see the scheme of this cake bellow). This cake has only 3 simple components:

  • Genoise Sponge
  • White Chocolate Mousse
  • Fresh Strawberries

My cake will be in a heart-shape… I told you… Lots of hearts for Saint Valentine’s Day are coming:) But, if you don’t have a heart-shaped mold, you can also make it in a round pastry mold. No worries, this is an easy-peasy recipe! Most of all, each recipe (in all 3 categories) will be provided with step-by-step pictures & detailed instructions, so even if you never baked a cake before, you will nail it.

Easy-Peasy White Chocolate Cake with Strawberries | by @bakingwithanastasiaThe second post will be an Level Up White Chocolate Strawberry Cake (you can see the scheme of this cake bellow). This cake is a little bit more difficult and requires additional baking equipment & a little bit more time. This cake has already 5 components:

  • Genoise Sponge (the same as in the Easy-Peasy cake)
  • White Chocolate Mousse (different from the Easy-Peasy Cake)
  • Strawberries Compote (basically it’s a jelly layer with pieces of fruits)
  • Strawberry Mousse
  • Strawberry Mousse in decoration. Yep, in a heart-shape:D

Still, this cake is not THAT difficult & you don’t need expensive patisserie equipment. You will just need more time to make it. But again, I will provide step-by-step pictures and detailed instruction. So if you want to try something more difficult this time, this cake is just perfect!

Level Up White Chocolate Strawberry Cake | by @bakingwithanastasiaThe final post of this series will be a Pâtisserie Level White Chocolate Strawberry Cake (you can see the scheme of this cake bellow). This cake is definitely not that easy to make and requires additional patisserie baking equipment. This cake has even more components:

  • Genoise Sponge (the same as in the Easy-Peasy cake)
  • White Chocolate Mousse (different from the Easy-Peasy Cake)
  • Strawberries Compote (basically it’s a jelly layer with pieces of fruits)
  • Strawberry Mousse Hearts (the same as in the Level Up cake)
  • Strawberry Croustilliant (crispy layer)
  • Chocolate velvet layer (a final touch that will bring your creation on a totally different level)

Again, I will provide step-by-step pictures and detailed instruction (and may be even a small video). So if you will decide one day to really impress your guests or your Valentine, I really hope you will make it!

Patiserrie Level White Chocolate Cake with Strawberry | by @bakingwithanastasiaSo here was a small introduction to my new project. And hope you are as excites as I am!

P.S. If you will bake one of these cakes, please tag @bakingwithanastasia and @toetjeaddicted on Instagram and use the hashtag #bakingwithanastasia! I would love to see your creations! Also I’m really interested to know which of the categories is the most relevant for my readers… May be no one wants to see Pâtisserie level recipes or may be you want to see only them… Honestly, I have no idea now! So please take a vote, so I can improve this blog and will post the recipes that are interesting for you! Big thanks and happy baking!

Yours,

Anastasia
